Szeth

May 2025 - September 2025

Adopted: July

Since we took him from random people, first weeks of his life with us had to be spent on quarantines, regular tank cleanings, medications, and unfortunately a bit of stress. He was an observer. He slept in a watchbox, and liked to spend his time in the sandbath, just watching. He never got used to humans. Sometimes we would manage to lure him out, but it was pretty rare. I think he was scared and needed time. Unfortunately he got sick. At first, I noticed some hairloss on his neck, and imediately went to the vet. There he got some medicine, and I had to keep giving him it at home for a few weeks. I am not sure if it was the medicine, the food or the unidentified illnes, but he didnt seem to do well. Things progressed very quickly. I keep thinking how unfair the life of Szheth was. He wasnt even given some time to at least get used to us and feel safe.
